Duan, Dagao. Male, PhD, Associate Professor, Master instructor in BTBU, Beijing excellent young and middle-aged backbone teacher, Beijing excellent young intellectuals. The senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), the member of China Computer Federation (CCF), the member of ACM Association and IEEE-CS Association. Research area focus on robot and machine vision, image processing and understanding, network communication, embedded system, Internet big data mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

As the project leader and the key member of research team, he has finished or been on research more than 40 national, provincial and ministerial level projects and crosswise projects. Published more than 50 academic papers, including more than 10 papers were indexed in SCI, EI. Published 4 scholarly monographs. Authorized more than 30 certifications of software copyright and 9 patents for invention. In 2007, won one Third Class Prize for Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award, in 2008 obtain one First Class Prize for China Institute of Electronics Science Award, in 2009 won one First Class Prize for China Institute of Communications Science and Technology Award, in 2010 obtain one Second Class Prize for China's State Science and Technology Progress Awards. The Beijing Excellent Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teachers Award in 2007, the young intellectuals Award of Beijing in 2008.
