Introduction of Major：

Electronics science and technology is a comprehensive major combined electronics technology, computer technology and information technology. It plays an important role in the cutting-edge areas of electronics and information processing, electronics application, artificial intelligence, modern communication, etc. Electronics science and technology is also the national industry which is refocus developed. This major builds on electronic technology and focus on studying and grasping the design, development, test and application technology. There are 9 full-time faculty including 2 professors, 5 associate professors, 2 lecturers. Among them 8 persons has doctoral degrees, 1 person is postdoctor, 1 person is honored “Middle-age and young core instructor of Beijing”. 9 projects have been supported by National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation, Scientific Research Project of Beijing Educational Committee and Beijing outstanding talent project to develop the research work. 5 national patents have been authorized. This major has been awarded many prize, such as Beijing municipal science and technology awards, Beijing technology and business university undergraduate teaching awards (the second prize and the third prize), Ministry of education of general higher education “10” and "15" national planning materials, Beijing higher education quality materials.

This major is connected with international IEEE and has international teaching mode. The major signed exchange protocols with Finland ham university of science and technology, University college cork in Ireland, Northern Illinois University (NIU) and University of Wisconsin. Especially, the major singed the cooperation programs with NIU in “2+2” and “3+1” form.
