Dong Huafeng, PhD
Born in 1965, received her Ph.D. in literature of film and television from Lanzhou University, worked as postdoctoral researcher on film in Beijing Normal University. She had worked as a journalist, television producer and director for 14 years. Currently, she is the Professor of Art and Communication School and supervisor for journalism graduate students at Beijing Technology and Business University. She mainly focuses on industry and culture of film and television, and also history and theory of journalism.

History of Foreign Journalism, History of Chinese and Foreign Journalism, Film and Television Seminar, the Aesthetics of Film and Television 
Academic Research Projects and Awards:
Principal of one art project supported by National Social Science Foundation- The Transition of Value Orientation of the Entertainment Television Entertainment Program in China since the Reform and Opening-up Policy in 2012; Principal of one social science project supported by State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television- The Research of Current Development and Strategy of Economic Television Program in China in 2011; Principal of three research projects supported by enterprises. Published about 30 academic thesis on core periodicals such as, Hundred Schools in Arts, Contemporary Communications, Press Circles, China Television, etc.; The rush out in Fashion- the Current Situation of the Creation of Chinese TV Series won the second place of China Television “Golden Eagle” Prize in academic theses realm.
Other Achievements:
Carried off multiple China television art Awards- Starlight Award when working as a television producer and director; Several MTV works had won China MTV Competition golden prizes or silver prizes.
