北京工商大学

Hosted by Gymnastic Sport Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China, 2017 “Dance for China Line Dance League” (Beijing Area) was held in Daxing Campus of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Under the guidance of Coach Wu Bo and Fan Hongsong, BTBU’s dancing team “Love Dance” won first prize of team score, Prize for Best Organization and Prize for Best Creativity, which shows our players’ good competitive state and spirit.

Our 35 players participated in 7 sub-competitions. Among the university group, BTBU’s players finally won the first prize in the collective compulsory-action competition and small-group selective-action competition, and second prize in collective selective-action competition, collective medley-action competition, small-group designated-action competition, small-group medley-action competition and individual elementary designated-action competition. Meanwhile, teacher Wu Bo won the award of 2017 Beijing’s Advanced Individual for promoting line dance in China, while teacher Fan Hongsong won the title of Excellent Coach. As the athlete representative, Yan Ran made a solemn pledge on behalf of all athletes participating in this competition

Following the university’s teaching principle and promoting spirit of sporting culture, our dancing team “Love Dance” is a comprehensive and diversified sporting team which focuses on sports dance, line dance, street dance and yoga, which forges a solid foundation for advancing our students’ physical and mental health and comprehensive competence.
