To accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the university's discipline construction and to support the university's "double first-class" initiative and the construction of a distinctive, high-level research university, BTBU, after extensive research, proposes to establish Digital Business and Capital Development Innovative Center.

The construction goals of Digital Business and Capital Development Innovative Center are: aiming for the construction of first-class business disciplines, focusing on the construction of innovation centers for consumer big data and the digital economy. By vigorously strengthening the construction of a digital faculty for business disciplines, talent cultivation, and scientific research platform development, the center will focus on cultivating digital business talents. This will meet the demand for digital business talents, especially for Beijing's construction as an international science and technology innovation center, a global digital economy benchmark city, and an international consumer center city. It will also yield key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, major projects of the National Social Science Fund of China, and high-level papers with international influence.

The digital transformation of business disciplines involves cultivating composite innovative talents of "Digital + Business" and strengthening interdisciplinary research integrating "Digital + Business" by highlighting the application of digital technologies such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Internet, Cloud Computing, the Internet of Things, and Blockchain in business education and research, thereby serving the development of the digital economy and society. Digital Business and Capital Development Innovative Center will support the transformation through specialized digital faculty, graduate student cultivation, and its focus to digital technology research.
