On the afternoon of December 11,2025, the delegation led by Vice Rector Bakhodir Aliyev of Almaty Technological University (ATU), Kazakhstan visited BTBU. Prof. Mao Xinshu, Vice President of BTBU, met with Vice Rector Aliyev and his delegation at Meeting Room B316, Light Industry and Food Building, Liangxiang Campus.

Prof. Mao extended a warm welcome to Bakhodir Aliyev and his delegation. He reviewed the cooperation between the two universities since 2024 in terms of institutional exchange visits and academic research collaboration, and affirmed the progress made by the China-Kazakhstan Technology and Innovation Cooperation Center. He expressed hope that both sides would continue to actively carry out various forms of exchanges, and welcomed more outstanding Kazakhstani students to study and participate in exchange programs at BTBU. Prof. Bakhodir Aliyev expressed his gratitude to Prof. Mao Xinshu for the warm reception and expressed his hope to expedite the implementation of the dual-degree cooperation program between the two universities. Subsequently, professors from relevant departments of both universities held discussions and exchanges on the specific content of cooperative projects between the two institutions.
