On May 21, 2025, a delegation from the "Cambodia-China Friendship Youth Home" led by H.E. Sarun Rithea, a member of the Council, visited Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU). Shen Qianfan, Secretary of the CPC BTBU Committee, and Mao Xinshu, Vice President of BTBU, received the delegation at Fucheng Road Campus.

Secretary Shen extended a warm welcome to H.E. Sarun Rithea and his delegation. He spoke of the deep and enduring friendship between China and Cambodia and noted both countries’ commitment to building the high-quality, high-level China–Cambodia Community with a Shared Future in the New Era. Shen highlighted that, with support from the Cambodia–China Friendship Youth Home, BTBU established cooperation with the Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2023. Through the China–Cambodia Business School, the two sides have cooperated on business education and talent cultivation, facilitating youth exchanges between the two countries. He expressed hope for broader and deeper cooperation with Cambodian universities and academic institutions, including the Cambodia–China Friendship Youth Home.

H.E. Sarun Rithea thanked Secretary Shen for the warm reception and expressed pleasure at the progress of the China–Cambodia Business School. He expressed his hope that the Cambodia–China Friendship Youth Home would play a greater role in future cooperation.

After the meeting, the delegation, accompanied by Vice President Mao Xinshu, visited the Key Laboratory of Brewing Molecular Engineering of China Light Industry and the Digital Future Center to learn about BTBU’s disciplinary strengths, featured programs, and recent innovations in business digitalization, food science, and light-industry engineering.
