In order to implement the ten-key tasks of BTBU in 2025 and further promote the cooperation between BTBU and Italian universities, Mao Xinshu, Vice President of BTBU, held a cooperative program meeting with Dr. Edilio Mazzoleni, the Assistant President of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy at the Beijing Municipal Education Commission on the afternoon of April 7. The meeting was chaired by Dong Chuan, the Director of the International Office of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
Dong Chuan first extended a warm welcome on behalf of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission to the visit of Assistant President Mazzoleni and his delegation. He pointed out that this cooperative program meeting aimed to build an international exchange and cooperation platform between China and Italy, and to promote practical exchanges and cooperation between universities affiliated with the Beijing Municipality and Italian universities. The Beijing Municipal Education Commission would actively support the establishment of an inter-university cooperation relationship between BTBU and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, strengthen the exchanges of teachers and students and scientific research cooperation in the advantageous disciplines of both sides, and continuously explore new cooperation areas and programs, so as to further promote the sharing of high-quality resources in higher education between China and Italy.
On behalf of BTBU, Mao Xinshu expressed his anticipation for this meeting with Assistant President Mazzoleni. He mentioned that with the strong support of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the two universities had signed an inter-university cooperation agreement. Currently, the cooperation programs between the two sides were progressing smoothly. He hoped to conduct more in-depth and comprehensive exchanges and cooperation with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore to promote the development of both sides. Assistant President Mazzoleni was very glad to meet Vice President Mao Xinshu again within half a year. He stated that the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore would actively promote cooperation with BTBU, strengthen the exchanges among the faculties, professors and students of the two universities, and promote the implementation and implementation of the cooperation programs between the two sides.
Subsequently, the two sides discussed specific program contents such as the China-Italy International Academic Conference in 2025, the China-Italy Joint Student Training Program, and the China International Talent Exchange Conference in 2025, and determined the work tasks for the next stage.
