The Delegation of GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIK) visited BTBU on 10 November, 2019. Prof. Sun Baoguo, President of BTBU met the GIK delegation on Fucheng Campus.

Prof. Sun Baoguo, President of BTBU, warmly welcomed delegation. He briefly introduced BTBU’s development, and pointed outthat BTBU holds a higher regard on cooperation and exchanges with Pakistan’s universities. Heexpressed a strong wish to expand cooperation between the two universities on wide-ranging disciplines and create a positive and steady relation in the field of education and research.

Shakil Durrani，Member of the Board of GIK Governors, offered his appreciation for the hospitality of BTBU and Pakistan Study Center. Furthermore, Jehangi Bashar, Rector of GIK, briefly introduced the historyand the characteristics of GIK institute. He pointed out that both universities enjoy high prestige in their own country, and each has its own discipline ascendancy, which offers great scope for deepening collaboration. He suggested that there were vast collaborative potentials in many fields including science, economy and education,

The two sides discussed about further cooperation and signed Memorandum of Understanding.
