CAE Fellow Sun Baoguo Headed the Delegation of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology for the 2011 IFT Annual Meeting

 

CAE Fellow Sun Baoguo headed the 20-person delegation of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology for the 2011 IFT Annual Meeting which was held June 9–16, 2011 in New Orleans. Adcademician Sun delivered the report titled“Processing Technology of the Third Meaty Flavorings in China” in the session of Savory flavors-Global trends and applications, introducing the history, status quo and future of the meat flavor industry in China as well as the key technology in the 3rd generation meat flavor production. His talk received welcome amd high appraisal from the participants.
The delegation also visited International Food & Technology Exhibition and Almond Board of California (ABC) for technology exchange between the two sides. The Principal Food Technology Scientist of ABC and Asia-Pacific Regional Manager, Mr. Huang Guangwei introduced ABC’s activities in China and advantages of almonds as ingredients.
