Recently, BTBU got the qualification of admitting the Chinese Government Scholarship Students according to the document in regard of “Commissioning Some universities to undertake Chinese Government Scholarship Students” from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China (【2014】 No.1905). Beijing Technology and Business University was officially approved to be one of the Chinese institutions undertaking the task of admitting the Chinese government scholarships students.

BTBU is one of the earliest universities admitting international students in China. In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in politics, economy, culture, education and trade between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities.
