On the morning of 22nd March, Prof. Bernard Hanzon (University College Cork, UCC) gave a demonstration class of the Introduction of Financial Mathematic for second year 2+2 program students majoring in risks and actuarial science at the Laboratory of Statistic and Actuarial Science, School of Science. Prof. Bernard introduced principle concepts of stock, bounds, derivatives, pricing theories, modeling and calculating in fixed income and uncertain return assets.
This demo-class strengthened the communication in the course construction and teaching methods between professors from BTBU and UCC, and had a very positive influence on the teachers and students from both sides.
